About

WIEmpower is the 2-day flagship event organised by IEEE IGDTUW and IEEE Delhi Section in association with Department of Science and Technology on March 26-27, 2019. WIEmpower consisted of the following tracks:


  • Data Science Workshop: The two-day workshop was organised by GirlScript Foundation. It witnessed over 20 attendees and had an overwhelming response.
  • Open CV Workshop: The two-day hands-on certified workshop was organised by Allinone CyberTeam. It witnessed over 30 attendees and had an overwhelming response.
  • Ideathon: This competition was organised on the last day WIEmpower where the participants had to solve some burning problems with out of the box solutions. The competiton witnessed teams from colleges outside Delhi and was a huge success.

EVENTS

It was a two-day workshop on image processing with openCV. Students learnt everything about how the human eye perceives an image and how the camera is able to do the same. It had a participation of over 35 students.

This competition was organised on the last day WIEmpower where the participants had to solve some burning problems with out of the box solutions. The competiton witnessed over 25 teams from different colleges.

It was a two-day workshop on Data Science and its applications. It witnessed over 30 attendees and had an overwhelming response. It was conducted by Ms Usha Rengaraju, a Data Scientist herself.
